The H3 dissolves hydrogen gas into water as very fine bubbles, using proton exchange membrane electrolysis. It is not a filter. It works on water that is already clean, which makes it a companion to one of our reverse osmosis units rather than a replacement for one.
Fill the carafe with clean water, run a cycle, then drink. Dissolved hydrogen escapes back into the air over time, so make what you are about to drink rather than a batch to keep.

Around two hours after the cycle finishes. That is why it is best drunk straight away, and why you should only make what you are about to drink.
Better not. A high CO2 content leaves no room for the hydrogen, and the constant movement of the bubbles carries it back out quickly.
No. The H3 does not remove chlorine, heavy metals or bacteria. Use water that has already been filtered.
